Welcome to the Lycée Français d’Irlande (LFI) website. For nearly fifty years, the LFI has provided a unique French education for Irish, French and international students at our school in Dublin. The LFI is part of a global network of French schools abroad approved by the French Department of Education and attached to the Agency for French Teaching Abroad (AEFE) via a convention. We operate on two sites in South Dublin, educating around 500 children in our kindergarten and elementary classes in Foxrock, and our secondary classes in Clonkseagh.
At the LFI, we work to form the citizens of tomorrow; ambitious, curious, conscious of their rights and their duties, open to the world around them with its political, economic, cultural and ecological challenges. We are proud to uphold together the values of equality, tolerance, respect and sharing which are part of our school system.
