The Parents Association helps you prepare for the new school year.

The PA has brought it to the attention of the school authorities that a lot of parents find it difficult to obtain French-style copybooks for their children. So, from now on you are free to buy either Irish copybooks or French copybooks, depending on where you shop for school supplies. However, the 6eme teachers have indicated that it is preferable to have the French-style copybooks for those children whose handwriting is still a little shaky.

The book list for each year is listed by class in the ‘Secondary’ page of the website.
Each family can buy or sell their school books at the school book fair that will be held at the end of each school year and just before the beginning of each new school year. You can also buy new French school books on line. For further information please visit the ‘new books order’ page. The school books in English that are required for the Eurocampus forms (5ème, 4ème and 3ème) can be bought used at the fair or new in local Dublin bookshops( addresses and websites can be found on the book list).

School Book Sale

Two book sales have been organised for the forthcoming school year 2009/2010:

The book sale will take place in a classroom on the ground floor of the new building and all parents and students are welcome to come and buy or sell their schoolbooks.
To make things simple and avoid the sale of books that are no longer on the curriculum, we would ask you to note the following rules:

- Only those manual and reading books that are on the school booklists for 2009/2010 can be sold and we cannot accept workbooks or activity books that have already been written on.

- Pricing is as follows: 10 euro per good-as-new reference book or manual and 5 euro per well-used reference book or manual. Good-as-new readers are at 2 euro and 1 euro for those that are in poor condition. Some Irish books or books for the senior cycle may have different prices, but these will be listed on the day.

For those students preparing for exams, you can come and sell your books on 29th of May and make arrangements with the buyer to hand them over once your exams are over.

You can also donate your books to the Parents Association, who will sell them and use the profits to fund school projects next year.
