In English
Cambridge classes and “Language & Literature” classes run in tandem. Students will be able to switch during the year if they wish, subject to the teachers’ approval.
Cambridge classes
The Cambridge exams cover 5 levels (KET, PET, First Certificate, Advanced, Proficiency) which are all prepared in the school. Exam sessions take place in June, December and March for all the levels (and in August only for the First Certificate). Students will first sit a placement test to assess their level and will then practice the different skills required for the Cambridge exams: written comprehension, aural comprehension, grammar in use, written expression and oral expression. Mock exams will be organised to evaluate their progress.
Language & Literature
This course is aimed at advanced and fluent speakers of English. Students will complete various modules throughout the year, including Shakespeare, fiction, film studies and media studies. Marks will be awarded for a completed assignment at the end of each module.

In Terminale:
The course is composed of the study of a novel and the analysis of several types of documents.
Students attending this class will sit an oral exam for the baccalauréat. They will first do a presentation on an extract from the novel studied in class, and will then have a conversation with the examiner, based on an unprepared document.
