What?
The Association des Parents d’Elèves or Parent Association of the Lycée Français d’Irlande
Who?
All parents or those having guardianship of a child and or children at the school are automatically considered members. That means YOU!
Why?
- To create a link between the different communities within the school and help new families feel welcome.
- To promote communication between the teaching staff, administration and parents
- To help the teaching staff/administration when needed
How?
The following are the activities and events for the 2010-2011 school year:
 Social Events:
- 17 october 2011 : the LFI Parents Association Annual General Meeting, at the Royal St George Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire, at 7.30 PM.
This evening will begin with a talk by our guest speaker, Sheila O'Malley from Practical Parenting. Sheila will be giving us some top tips on various parenting issues.
The AGM will also include a review of APE activities for 2010/2011 and elections for the APE committee for 2011/2012.
There will be drinks and nibbles for everyone, so come along for a glass of vino and a chance to catch up with other LFI parents
- 26 november 2011 Christmas Bazaar at St Killians.
- January: Galette des rois Coffee Morning at Foxrock.
- 2 february 2012 : Quizz Evening at the Royal St George Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire.
- 10 march 2012 : St Patrick ‘s Day Party.
