What?
The Association des Parents d’Elèves or Parent Association of the Lycée Français d’Irlande

Who?
All parents or those having guardianship of a child and or children at the school are automatically considered members. That means YOU!

Why?

1. To create a link between the different communities within the school and help new families feel welcome.
2. To promote communication between the teaching staff, administration and parents
3. To help the teaching staff/administration when needed

How?
The following are the activities and events for the 2008-2009 school year:

Social Events:

• Coffee morning for teachers/admin. (27th August)
• Coffee morningfor parents (30th August for Junior School)
• Drinks party for Secondary School parents (date to be confirmed)
• Back-to-School Picnic (4th September)
• Christmas Bazaar with St Kilian's (December)
• Galette des Rois Coffee Morning (January)
• St Patrick’s Day Party (March)

• Gazette, Parent Association's newsletter, five editions a year
