CDI / Library
Overview
The CDI (Centre de Documentation et d’Information) is an area in the school which can be used by students from 6th year to Terminale as well as the entire educational team.
Students attend on their own time or during a project or course.
As a place of work, reading and cultural openness, students can come there to read and research information.
The E-sidoc portal
The resources, whatever their medium, are listed in the CDI database, which can be consulted on the E-sidoc portal at the following address: https://college-francoirlandais-irlandeoueire.esidoc.fr/
This portal also provides direct access to digital resources, the latest acquisitions and information from the CDI.
Activities
Students in middle and high school can go to the CDI to read and borrow books or simply carry out documentary research.
Several activities are also offered by the documentalist including the Club Média, which allows a group of students to try journalism.
Teachers and the researcher also collaborate in the promotion of reading, thanks to the many workshops throughout the year.
Given its many functions, it seems to be a factor in integrating education and adapting to the contemporary world. It contributes to the education projects of the school and to the success of each individual.
